How to read the table
- Company links to the provider's own website. Plan names, where the company uses them, appear next to the name.
- Mac mini chip, RAM and storage are taken from the provider's plan page. Some companies publish only ranges (for example 16–32 GB), shown as such.
- Server location is the data center country or city stated on the provider's website. Companies that do not state it anywhere we could find are not included in a regional comparison, and are listed under the table instead of being guessed. A company with data centers in several regions appears in each regional comparison with all the locations it states.
- Day, month and year show the price for each billing period. The monthly price is the one the company lists for a month-to-month or shortest plan; longer contracts are often cheaper. A dash means the company does not sell that period.
- Currency: prices are converted to euros at the European Central Bank reference rate shown above the table. Switch to the provider currency to see the original price.
- VAT: many providers quote prices without VAT, some include it. Business customers in the EU usually pay VAT on top unless a reverse-charge applies; check the provider's terms.
How prices are calculated
Every price comes from the provider's public page. When a company does not publish a billing period, we calculate it with fixed rules and mark it with a tilde:
- hourly price × 24 = daily price;
- daily price × 30 = monthly price;
- monthly price × 12 = yearly price (a published yearly plan is used as listed instead).
We do not show hourly prices. A calculated monthly price from a daily rate is usually much higher than a real monthly plan, so treat it as an upper estimate.
What to check before you rent
- Dedicated Mac or shared? A dedicated Mac gives you the whole machine. See the comparison in our cloud Mac guide.
- Stock. Popular configurations sell out. Plans that are out of stock or announced but not yet available are marked in the table.
- Minimum term and setup fees. Some plans require a minimum contract or charge a setup fee that is not part of the monthly price.
- Server location. It affects latency and, for some teams, data residency requirements.
- Support and network. Bandwidth, remote reboot and support hours are not compared here; read each provider's plan page.
Frequently asked questions
Why do prices for the same Mac mini differ so much?
Companies differ in support level, network, billing period, minimum contract, VAT treatment, stock and in whether a plan is a bare Mac mini or comes with extra tooling. Compare the same chip, RAM and storage, and check whether the price includes VAT.
Are the prices in the table up to date?
The table shows the date on which the prices were last checked on each company's public pages. Prices and stock change often, so confirm the final price on the provider's site before ordering.
What does the tilde (~) in front of a price mean?
A tilde marks a price we calculated because the company does not list that billing period: hourly price × 24 for a day, daily price × 30 for a month, and monthly price × 12 for a year. A calculated price is an estimate, not a quote.
Why is the daily price empty for many companies?
Many companies only sell monthly plans. We do not invent a daily price for them, so the cell shows a dash.
Why are some companies missing from the table?
We only include companies that state where their servers are. Companies that do not publish a data center location are listed under the table, not guessed. Companies with servers in several regions appear in each regional comparison.
Is the FideNubi cloud Mac service in this table?
